Hunting for hydrogen — a moonshot
Researchers are on the lookout for hydrogen, a key component of water, thought to reside in the

2018 Arizona Businesses Advancing Sustainability Student Grant Offering
Arizona Businesses Advancing Sustainability (AzBAS) is a non-profit organization focused on
sustainable business in Arizona. Our mission involves the funding and support of research activities in
Arizona. A key part of fulfilling this mission is our annual grant program for Arizona students. This grant
program offers a $1,000.00 grant for select Arizona students with research projects related to
sustainability. These funds are paid directly to the student and are intended to be used directly for the
research project, or for educational expenses (tuition, books, supplies, academic fees, etc.). Awarded
projects may span a variety of subjects and we highly encourage students to apply should they feel
their project falls within the scope of sustainability. Should there be any questions regarding the award
criteria or application process, please contact the administrator: Daniel J. Osterman, LEED AP BD+C,
Vice President, AzBAS, C/o Sundt Construction, Inc., 2015 W. River Rd., Suite 101, Tucson, AZ 85704
djosterman@sundt.com (520) 750-4643. Application closes September 28, 2018. To learn more about
AzBAS and membership opportunities, please visit www.azbas.org.
